Oh yeah, bring the elephant into the room on that 7-28. Not a bad version of Baby Blue by any means, I like the
earlier versions better. The LIG is grate (esp Phil =) )after they get pissed off after the botched Bobby lyric timing, but the WISE levels rant at the start of Shakedown will NEVER get old, like the rocks that are red themselves.

yo, Little Sense, do you still live in the Livermore Area? Did you ever play with the GD Tribute band called The Dead Guise?

I think I may have met you in the early 80's - As I've been a Livermoron for most of my 65yrs.

hey Chuck...

I left Livermore in 1983 and moved to Connecticut. Now I'm in Seattle.
I do know the Dead Guise though. Their original "Bobby" is a good friend of mine.

I was LHS 1979.

I first heard them in 1999 when Jeff (on bass) joined the band.

There is a BIG resurgence in Livermore with reunions featuring Ken koga, Danny Means, Forrest Frick, Chuck Marble, Tykus, Bay Rum, Catalyst to name a few...

Livermore has changed since I left. Back then the biggest culrural event was getting chased by the police while smoking dope in Sunset Park. Straight out of "That 70's Show" including painting dope leaves on the water tower and all. I've heard that you get some good entertainment now.

BTW my initials are RK, if that means anything to you.

Hey LS--CC and I have discussed Livermore and the local environs many times over the years (I grew up in Walnut Creek, left in the late 70s)...I used to spend a lot of time to the south and southeast, hiking, bike riding, etc., etc. (Arroyo Mocho, Mines Rd, Tesla Rd, old towns of Tesla, Carnegie, etc.; I even have some bricks from Carnegie Brick factory...old, yellow fire brick, esp cool if you grew up in construction like I did).

Nothing else--just chiming in as an ol Bay Area fart (like Flow, JOTS, CC, even BD nowadays...).

I moved from the Chicago suburbs to Livermore in the early 70's - culture shock of nth degree! Took me 4 or 5 years to assimilate - and then it was "going to hell in a bucket but at least I'm enjoying the ride" from there on in! I call it my "formative drug years".

Mines Road and Del Valle were our go-to places for party weekends. We used to drive up Morgan Territory a bit as well, it always felt like you were in the middle of no-where. We knew of an old cabin a good bit off the road, a nice place to watch the stars - fall from the sky.

There is a scene in The Grateful Dead movie, I think its where some very stoned dude is trying to talk his way into the show and right behind him, scribbled on the wall it says "Livermore loves the Dead" or some such thing. The first time I saw that it was a "who are the Dead and why do they keep following me" moment.

A bunch of my friends live in the Castro Valley/Hayward/San Leandro area these days.
